| LAST MEETING | Jack Wagner, Manager Engineering Services of the Electric Power
Board demonstrated EPB's Mapping System. The workstation system has the
capability of locating any utility pole in the EPB service area. It provides
location maps, line transmission and distribution drawings and information
on the individual locations. Future plans include linking it to the EPB
work management system and the electronic use of maps by field crews.

| ANNOUNCEMENTS | Parking is available in Lot 32 and 33 which is across the street
from the Hamilton County Arena (UTC Roundhouse). Place your weekly bulletin
or a piece of paper with your name and badge number in your windshield.
These are the only lots available with free parking. The parking garage
is expected to open August 18.
UTC's College of Engineering and Computer Science is having a picnic for the Engineers Club, Technical Professional Societies, alumni, faculty and students on August 16, 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Chester Frost Park. Call 755-4121 to RSVP and obtain details. A club member requested a copy of a science fair project by Melissa Meyer from Martha Davis. Martha has it and can be reached at 870-2187.
