THIS WEEK  Dr. Barbara Fulmer – Hamilton County Schools – will give our club a preview of the new core science and technology curriculum that will be presented to the Hamilton County School Board.
LAST WEEK  Dr. Bill Gurley – UTC – presented a demonstration of the  mathematic solving and rendering program MAPLE V. This program can gresent graphical, numerical and symbolic solutions to almost any type of mathematical expression.

June 29 – FIELD TRIP – The outgoing dean (pro tempore) of the Engineering School, Greg Sedrick, will conduct a tour of the schools labs and facilities with an emphasis on the changes in the last four years, and a brief look at the plans for the future. 

FELLOWSHIP Report fellowship item to Uwe Zitzow at 886-4050.
ANNOUNCEMENTS Greg Sedrick has been named the Vice President for Academics at CSTCC. The appointment is effective on July 1. The search for a dean for the Engineering School continues.
