| THIS WEEK | FIELD TRIP – The outgoing dean (pro tempore) of the Engineering
School, Greg Sedrick, will conduct a tour of the schools labs and facilities
with an emphasis on the changes in the last four years, and a brief look
at the plans for the future.
Meet in the reception area of Grote Hall (next to the Student Center on East Fifth Street) at about 11:50. There will be NO meal, so YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN FOR LUNCH! |
| LAST WEEK | Rich Bailey of the Chattanooga News Bureau, a working division of
the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, was on hand to explain the working
aspects of Chattanooga strategy for national publicity, with particular
emphasis on the new technical possibilities of “Smart Park” and the Volunteer
site.
This effort has resulted in the inclusion of Chattanooga in numerous articles on subjects from urban planning to economics. This effort is entirely separate from efforts to get publicity for travel and recreation. |

Program Chair: Greg Sedrick July 6- there WILL be a meeting. Subject to be announced in the next Bulletin July 13 – Claude Ramsey, County Executive, will present a program on Hamilton County. THERE WILL BE NO SOLICITATION OF FUNDS! |
