Topic: "Diamonds are in
Your Future" - Dale Bradshaw, TVA
Diamonds are not just for
adornment anymore. These days many more beautiful things can be done with this
precious stone, says Dale Bradshaw, Manager of TVA's Power Delivery Technology.
His group is working with diamonds in a variety of power-related devices from
circuit breakers to transformer switches. Diamonds also play a role in advanced
heat to electricity energy conversion devices. Dale says that diamonds are even
bringing us back to the future with new uses for vacuum tubes. Join us as Dale
kicks off our first meeting of the year by unraveling the mystery of this
unusual and timely topic.
