NEXT MEETING ____________________________________________
Monday, May 6 - 12:00 noon
Cellar Restaurant at Union Square

Topic: Roundabouts and Traffic Circles - John Van Winkle

It won’t be long before Chattanooga has the look of many European cities – at least when it comes to traffic control. The East Ridge Tunnel entry has been rearranged with a roundabout to smooth traffic flow and reduce accidents. Similar improvements are planned at several other sites in Hamilton County. John Winkle, Senior Traffic Engineer, will discuss how intersection redesign is used as a tool to relieve congestion, and how intersections needing revision are selected. Come and join us for a sneak peak at Hamilton County’s upcoming traffic plans!

Invocation: Jack Wagner

Fellowship: Almeda Frazier

Entrée du jour: Italian Chicken over rice, tossed salad, casserole, and peach cobbler
