2006 4th Annual Secret City Festival,
Oak Ridge, TN - The Secret City of Oak
Ridge is best known for its role in developing the Atomic Bomb which helped
bring an end to World War II. This year’s highlights include a World War
II re-enactment, live entertainment with The Drifters and Blood, Sweat and
Tears, an expanded children’s area, arts & crafts vendors, antique
dealers, and plenty of fun, food and activities for the whole family. The festival site is open to the public, and

June 5, 2006 - "Geothermal Heat Pump Systems in the
David Dinse made
a fine presentation on the conceptual basics, challenges, economics, and
practical hands-on experiences of geothermal heat pump systems. Geothermal heat
pumps have the lowest life-cycle cost and the lowest impact on our environment.
Consumers rank comfort and satisfaction with geoexchange
systems higher than all others. While a higher initial investment is required,
the investment is paid back through low energy bills (enhancing resale value),
