PREVIOUS MEETING
- June 26, 2006 “Storm Shelters by Remagen” – James Waller, 2006 winner of Spirit
of Innovation, Early Innovation Award. Jim showed us the installation procedure
for his 4’x7’x7’ safe room. The steel structure can withstand
tornado-force winds and keep it’s occupants safe
from wind driven missles. It also acts as a dandy
vault and panic room. Costs for the basic model run about $8000 plus labor and
it can be assembled by people with average construction skills.
