March 19 – Rob Del Bueno of the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy will describe the process developed by his company to convert used cooking oil into fuel for mass transit.

February 12, 2007 David Ballard, District Operations Manager for Brenntag Mid-South Chemicals spoke on chemical safety with particular emphasis on hazards associated with common household chemicals. He shared many personal experiences ranging from controlling industrial fires to humorous ¡°misadventures¡± involving chemical accidents, all of which could have been prevented with proper care and handling.
