Technology Leadership be Divorced from Ethics?” – Dr. Prem Chopra will present four
principles of purposeful action from his latest book: Masters of the Game. These Principles
seamlessly integrate ethics with management and leadership. The call for leadership
to be married to ethics is more and more obvious as we face global crises
including war, widespread poverty, and environmental overload. Dr. Chopra
authored a book that would serve as a guideline for ethical business practices
in an increasingly complex world. Dr. Chopra’s message for aspiring
managers and leaders could not have come at a better time.

Director of Development and Communications for Girls Inc. of
New research suggests President
Barack Obama’s use of social media helped put him in the White House. Royer
discussed how Obama used the Internet and successfully built an online community
that reached out to voters with social networking sites such as Facebook and
YouTube. Pew Research reports 59 percent of all voters took part in some kind
of campaign activity online. Obama raised $500,000,000 online.
