& BWR Training Facility
Directions from downtown: Follow Riverside Drive/Amnicola
Highway towards the Chickamauga Dam. After passing the light at Wilcox,
turn left at the next light (River Terminal Road). You will pass the
Election Commission building. The Westinghouse facility will be straight
ahead. Enter the Westinghouse facility at the center door where Jim
Schwall will be waiting. No lunch will be provided; however, there are
several restaurants nearby including: Subway, Blue Orleans, Burger
King & McDonalds. Tour will end about 1 pm.

“Getting Ready for the Next Generation of Plug-In
Vehicles” -- Ralph Boroughs, TVA Technology Innovations
Mr. Boroughs discussed TVA programs to prepare for the next
wave of plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles. He outlined several
projects dealing with charging infrastructure, and showed how these fit into
TVA’s primary missions around energy, economic development and
environmental stewardship.
