Chattanooga Technology Council
has a new mission!

The Chattanooga Technology Council has joined forces with the City of Chattanooga, Hamilton County, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chattanooga Manufacturer's Association and the State of Tennessee to assist and coordinate economic development efforts in the technology sectors. Your company, regardless of size or location, will be included in the area efforts to create new technical jobs.

  • There is no cost to participate
  • News and information about seminars and
    projects, including venture capital
  • You can "opt out" at any time

This effort is available to any firm that has technology at its core, is within 70 miles of Chattanooga, and wants to participate in development efforts (new jobs).

Through associations with our statewide partners:

we effectively form a state-wide Tennessee Technology Council. We "cross the lines" into Georgia and Alabama as well.

In the Chattanooga area we have alliances with

The 2002 Innovation awards were held on Friday, May 10, but you can still "go to the show" Click HERE for the entire presentation.

Our members are:

  • educational institutions with technology programs
  • governmental and non-governmental organizations with a role in economic development
  • technical and professional societies and individuals in technical professions

Our first project is the assembly of a "Technical Resource Book" of firms and organizations in the greater Chattanooga area, for use by the development professionals of the city, county, CMA, C of C, and state.
