Topic:  Senator Watson will talk about his legislative experiences on technology issues, with emphasis on issues that are important to Tennessee and
Chattanooga, and share his insights on technology outlook in Tennessee as related to the economic development for counties around Chattanooga.

Engineers without Borders-USA is a non-profit humanitarian organization established in partnership with developing communities worldwide in order to improve the quality of life. This partnership involves the implementation of sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internally responsible engineers and engineering students. The activities of EWB-USA range from the construction of sustainable systems that developing communities can own and operate without external assistance, to empowering communities by enhancing local, technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial skills. These projects are initiated by, and completed with, contributions for the host community working with project teams. EWB-USQ contributes to meeting the United Nations Millennium Development Goals though capacity building in community projects.

Math Counts
