In the 2004 Challenge, the Chattanooga Engineers Club is sponsoring three local teams in the international competition known as "First Lego League".

The teams are from the Tyner Middle Academy, a magnet school with a technology track, and the Chattanooga School for Arts and Sciences Middle School, a magnet school with multilple tracks, and a boy scout troop from Flintstone, GA..

This year's program will finish with an E-week exhibition of all three teams at the Creative Discovery Museum.

The 2004 season starts with the release of the 2004 Challange in May. This year's Challenge is demonstrating the use of technology to assist the disabled.
